Our Focus
Short-Term Volunteers are invaluable to the overall operation of the University of the Nations and YWAM Gambia.
Here at YWAM Gambia, our Volunteers are essential in our various operational areas where they can serve with their skills and fellowship with others. We want to create opportunities for the volunteers that come to YWAM Gambia to not only have the space to exercise their skills but also find out how these skills can impact others with God’s love.
This is also an amazing way to get connected to the community and others that are also interested in the same path!
WHAT ARE THE OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE?
Short-term volunteers have a set commitment period of 6 weeks – 3 months, with a specific arrival and departure date.
We have a wide variety of areas to serve in, whatever your interest or skill-set may be. From opportunities to help in the fabrication in our operation base at Sabi, to shooting a music video and recording indigenous song in the studio at Fajara, to playing and coaching children in football at the beach, if you’re thinking about volunteering, we most likely have a place for you here in YWAM Gambia.
The current areas of opportunities of service within YWAM Gambia include the Skill training in welding, Media, Sport, Tree planting, Bible distribution, Teaching as well as many opportunities to serve with local ministries and non-profit organizations that are partnered with YWAM.
