By joining staff, you will become part of one of our teams in YWAM Gambia. These teams work from three locations. Soma, Up Country and the Coast.
Soma
Right now, in 2025, we are excited to be building a brand new YWAM base at Soma. This will be a hub for training and discipleship as a center of influence for the region and beyond.
Once we are up-and-running we are looking forward to hosting a Discipleship Training School. We also see the base as a location for sports ministries and other ways to serve the local community.
Up Country
Our team upcountry live and pray for transformation in a village at the eastern end of the country. They are focusing on vocational training and tree planting alongside passionate prayers to see ‘Your Kingdom come, your will be done’ in the hearts and minds of this people group.
The Coast
Our team at the coast reach out through weekly broadcasts on national radio to spread the good news of Jesus, and to share godly perspectives on pertinent cultural issues. We partner with local churches in training and discipleship, promoting a mission focus for the unreached.
